Part 2:
Alos was startled. He retracted his neck guiltily.
“Uh, you’re awake. Feeling uncomfortable anywhere?” The Duke smiled ingratiatingly.
“They will die!” Suddenly this sentence came out of Zero’s mouth.
The Duke thought Zero suffered humiliation and wanted to kill the maids. So, he nodded, “I know. I will execute them. They had attacked their own kind and committed a capital offense.
“No. Even if you don’t execute them, they will still die!” Zero said, face calm, no trace of anger.
“You want to do it yourself?” Alos brows wrinkled, pondering if Zero could kill them with his strength.
“I don’t need to.” Zero replied, still calm.
“That’s…” The Duke was puzzled.
“My blood.” Zero said. “The amount they drank is enough to make them go crazy. After three days, they won’t be able to live.”
“You mean your blood is poisonous!” Alos was stunned, his expression turning grave.
Zero smiled. The smile looked of his looked strangely evil.
“My blood is indeed poisonous. But I didn’t expect it to be effective against you vampires too. But unexpectedly, it can make vampires go into a heat and lose their minds.
Alos mused for a moment, asking, “Why is your blood poisonous? Who exactly are you?”
His eyes turning bitingly cold stared at Zero. A black sphere formed in his palm.
Seeing Alos reaction, Zero giggled.
Alos brows tightened. The temperature around him became even colder.
“I’m an assassin!” Zero revealed, throwing a contemptuous glance at Alos.
“Like I said, I didn’t know beforehand that the poison could also work on you vampires. You need not worry who conspired with me to harm you vampires. Because, I really didn’t. Believe it or not.”
After a minute, Alos seemed to believe Zero’s words. The black sphere in his palm disappeared. On his face once again appeared a roguish and fawning smile.
“So it’s like that, ah. Oh, that right, you’re an assassin? Yeah, your skill is really not bad!” Alos said, then he immediately frowned again. “In that case, you should have been able to avoid their attacks then why you didn’t dodge?! Did you really have to get yourself hurt!?”
“I didn’t want to get into a trouble,” Zero said. “Also, I wanted to see how much crazy they’d get.”
As Zero spoke, there was a smile at the corner of his lips. Mr. Duke felt chill down his back, cold sweat on his forehead and thought in his hear: This little thing is really dangerous!
“Then satisfied now, they’re turning into crazy beasts!” Alos grumbled in dissatisfaction.
Zero hummed and fell into a deep thought.
Alos looked at the Zero’s serious expression. The more he thought the more upset his heart felt. He couldn’t help but say, “Little thing, your skill is pretty good, but don’t overestimate yourself. You’re a human and they’re vampires. And the advantage(power) of blood is sometimes overwhelming!”
Zero raised his face, revealing a strange, bewitching smile, “Are you worried about me?”
“…” This heartless guy! Of course, I’m worried about him!
“I know,” Zero Smiled. “If you were 10 minutes late, they’d have already been dead!” Zero smiled smugly.
Alos felt chocked. “So, it’s because you knew I was coming! You! …”
“I was lazy to do it.” Zero replied as a matter-of-factly*.
(理所当然: as it should be by rights; proper and to be expected as a matter of course; naturally)
“…” He will definitely will turn into a lazy pig!
At this moment the doctor also came. Seeing Zero was okay, Duke Alos went out.
He called his captain of guards, whispering some instructions with serious face. After listening, the guards expression was grave too, right away he “disappeared”, unable to be seen.
Duke Alos watched Moka leave, corner of his mouth hooking up in a wicked smile. “Really an interesting little thing…”
Duke concealed the fact that the situation occurred because of Zero’s blood was poisonous, and instead pushed out a story that several maids committed such high crime as killing their own over a human. And for those who violate the commandments of the blood clan/kin, the so-called punishment usually only has three words: Kill without mercy. However, the Duke was “magnanimous” and only prisoned those eight maids.
But “unexpectedly”, three days later, the criminal women clashed again because of a “quarrel”. The craziest among them, Juan, personally killed the other two companions and was in turn attacked by others and died. The remaining ones also died one after the other.
After this incident ended, all the servants of the Duke’s residence knew one thing clearly: The Duke Alos had a little slave of oriental descent who he highly dotted upon.
Moreover, the little slave had sharp claws. Lord* Duke was often at his wits end.

It was also said that the little slave was not happy with the Duke’s bedroom skills.
Because some people often saw Lord Duke standing by the little slave’s door in the middle of the night, begging the little slave to let him in.
In summary:
- The Duke’s slave is really beautiful
- The Duke’s slave tackles his husband wisely.
- The Duke really dotes on little slave.
- It’s said that the Duke is impotent.
In the upper class society, banquets were often held and naturally the talk of the of the banquets wouldn’t be about the major national events or such. So, the prince of the banquet, Duke Alos, had always been the target of the noble folks delightful conversations.
When the the lastest gossip came out, many young ladies and married women alike, all who were deeply infatuated with Lord Duke Alos, felt endlessly heart-broken/sad. Some even offered rewards to sought out famous doctors to treat Duke’s defect*.
[T/n: *rumored impotence lol]
The women who had an affair with Duke, feeling deeply resentful, immediately jumped out to refute the rumor! Even disregarding their own noble status and blamed it as the deliberate attempt of someone jealous of Duke to spread such rumors! Some even said from experience that Duke’s bedroom skills were outstanding. So far, it was even rumored that the Duke could manage 10, 20 women in a night…and that the Duke’s power actually reflected in his lower body! And so on…
In short there were various differing opinions. Though the Duke continued to wait at the little slave’s door in the middle of the night.
